Itinerary

Upon arrival at Jolly Grant Airport or Dehradun Railway Station, our representative will greet you and assist with a comfortable transfer to your hotel. After check-in and some rest, begin your local sightseeing tour of Dehradun. Start with a visit to Robber’s Cave (Gucchu Pani), a naturally formed cave with a flowing river inside, perfect for a short trek and a refreshing experience. Next, visit Sahastradhara, meaning “Thousand Fold Springs,” known for its medicinal sulphur water springs. Afterward, explore the Forest Research Institute (FRI), an iconic colonial-era building with a rich botanical museum. In the evening, visit Paltan Bazaar, Dehradun’s famous shopping street, where you can buy local handicrafts, woolen clothes, and Garhwali souvenirs. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, head to Tapkeshwar Temple, an ancient Shiva temple built inside a natural cave, where water continuously drips onto the Shiva Lingam. Later, visit Mindrolling Monastery, one of the largest Buddhist centers in India, with stunning murals and a peaceful ambiance. If time permits, visit the Malsi Deer Park, a small zoological park home to deer, peacocks, and other wildlife. Optional Mussoorie Excursion: For those interested, take a drive to Mussoorie (1.5 hours), a famous hill station known as the Queen of the Hills. Visit Kempty Falls, one of the most scenic waterfalls in the region, and enjoy a ropeway ride to Gun Hill for a panoramic view of the Doon Valley. Stroll along Mall Road and shop for local handicrafts before returning to Dehradun in the evening.

After breakfast, take a final visit to Buddha Temple (Mindrolling Monastery) or explore Tapovan, a serene place for meditation. If time permits, enjoy a last-minute shopping stop at Pacific Mall before checking out.
